YOUTH-LEAD AFRICA PROJECT 2017

YOUTH-LEAD AFRICA PROJECT 2017

Ediprojects is delighted to give you a heads-up on its Annual  YOUTH-LEAD AFRICA PROJECT Summit to hold in April 2017 in Port Harcourt .

The  YOUTH-LEAD AFRICA PROJECT is a reorientation program on leadership and entrepreneurship development for students in African Universities.

The THEME for 2017 is Youth SME Development As A Tool For Africa Economic Freedom And Development

Speakers will include heads of financial institutions, government agencies, the organised private sector and hands-on managers in the Youths, Economic  Community development.

Ediprojects is aware that most Africa society do not favour startups, small and medium businesses. It is obvious that these businesses who are really the drivers of the economy must have access to funding of all sorts and that no excuses will suffice at this time of economic upheaval when business growth and employment are vital to our collective national economic survival.

Attention will therefore be given to creative funding mechanisms, customer financing, innovative mezzanine financing strategies, new ideas in leasing and investment-capable insurance products that create liquidity for SMEs.

Special attention will be paid to easy access to capital markets, crowd-funding, factoring, and commercial papers. For high net-worth individuals and those with investible funds ideas will be shared on how to pool funds for venture  capital and private equity.

Where appropriate, communiques from the Summit will be used to guide government and lobby for policies that will make funds readily available for startups, small and medium businesses.

Development, Commercial and Microfinance banks, non-bank financial institutions, venture capitalists, private equity firms, mobile payment companies and similar organisations are expected to take up exhibition space to engage directly with startup, small and medium business promoters.

Participation will be FREE for Students within African Universities by registration only. How to register will be made known soon.
