The burning desire of our founding fathers like Nnamdi Azikiwe, Obafemi Awolowo, Herbert Marcualy, Tafawa Balewa, Chief Ernest Ikoli,  and freedom fighters likee KenSaro Wiwa, Ojukwu Isaac Boro is nothing but our liberty, and fredom. Same it was for Kwame Nkurumah, Kenneth Kaunda, Gloria Steinem, Ronald Reagan, Bob Marley, Greta Garbo, Stephen King and many others have in common. A burning desire for liberty, and a healthy respect for what it takes to be free

All over the countries in the world, her independence day is one of the best holidays, both for what is celebrated and how it is celebrated.

I tell you all that is taking this day and liberty of Nigeria for granted, Remember how difficult it was to gain our freedoms more than 56years ago. So by all means, march in a parade, host a barbecue, have a few beers, head to the beach, light off some fireworks. My family and I will be right there with you. But take a minute or two to reflect on why we celebrate as well. Here are some of the best things ever said about freedom some poignant, some rebellious, some even funny to get you thinking. But the truth was said by Woodrow Wilson that "Liberty has never come from the government. Liberty has always come from the subjects of it. The history of liberty is a history of resistance."

However, leaders of this multi ethnic country should know that this freedom is not to be cherished only by the subjects as not to breach the essence of their stay in power. According to Ronald Reagan "Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same. This is because George Washington has said that "If the freedom of speech is taken away then dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep to the slaughter." The truth is all men are created equal which means that we are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights which are life and iberty. To the present leadership of this country I say though we are joining you in celebration of our indirect slavery because to be free is not merely to cast off one's chains, but to live in a way that respects and enhances the freedom of others which Nelson Mandela fought for South Africa.

I also want to use this medium to congratulate the INEC under the present leader for her first un-inconclusive election conducted in Nigeria which shows that INEC is an organ of APC. ALSO I call on INEC to conduct the serial shifted election in Rivers State. But it should be noted that Rivers is no Edo because some birds are not meant to be caged, that's all. Their feathers are too bright, their songs too sweet and wild. So you let them go, or when you open the cage to feed them they somehow fly out past you. And the part of you that knows it was wrong to imprison them in the first place rejoices, but still, the place where you live is that much more drab and empty for their departure.

The people should not be made to remember the words od Aidoud Huzley who said "Liberties aren't given, they are taken" and Jim Morrison "A friend is someone who gives you total freedom to be yourself. This is not be seen as anti masses. especially Rivers people who prefer liberty with danger to peace with slavery as Jean-Jacques Rousseau has postulated.

Come October 2016 Rivers State Re-Run  I am sure Rivers people will rexist any form of act to turn Rivers State to Edo part 2 because since we still have Freedom as part of vocabulary as notable Malcolm said "If you're not ready to die for it, put the word 'freedom' out of your vocabulary."

Finally note that posterity has said through Thomas Paine that He that would make his own liberty secure, must guard even his enemy from opposition; for if he violates this duty he establishes a precedent that will reach himself.
