Tanzania Will Soon Launch Super-Tech Modern Hospital

Tanzania ’s super-tech modern hospital is ready to be launched in 2017 at Mloganzila, Dar es Salaam .

The proposed health facility will be of a dual advantage. The medical centre will attend to the medical needs of the people. At the same time, its tech-quality will improve the quality of services rendered in it.

Another great news about the proposed hospital is that it will seriously reduce the cost of medical care for people who have been forced to travel abroad for treatments.

Tanzania’s super-tech modern hospital will also serve as a medical training institution.
Report says that the construction of the ultra-modern medical centre in Mloganzila campus commenced in April 2014.

As it is the health and academic centre is gradually taking shape. The procurement and installation of advanced and high quality equipment for the health centre are also ongoing.

Tanzania’s super-tech modern hospital is estimated to the value of $95.5 million.
Features:

The 2 winged medical facility has nine floors each with a parking space that accommodates about 476 vehicles.

571 hospital beds;

12 operating theatres;

Maternity and emergency wards

Sophisticated MRI, CT scan and Ex-ray machines

Modern food service areas

Lecture rooms and Medical staff offices.

Let’s just call it the state of the art facility which will put Tanzania on an elevated medical research platform. The teaching hospital as expected will be ICT-friendly; with plans to ensure a 24/7 power supply.

From the food area to the sewage facilities, everything is expected to be top notch.

“Immediately after the hospital kicks off operations, it will reduce the number of patients who have been travelling abroad to seek medical attention as well as reducing the cost of medical services locally.” – Professor Ephata Kaaya, MUHAS Vice-Chancellor.
