( http://www.unesco.org/new/en/media-services/ single-view/news/ port_ harcourt_named_world_book_capital_2014 ). To this end, Port Harcourt has become a centre of attraction as long as capacity building is concerned; hence, the choice of Port Harcourt for The Leaders’ Den.

THE IMPACT OF THE LEADERS’ DEN
The target of the project is to raise and nurture 381,300 young leaders in West Africa by the end of its first cycle (5years). The Leaders’ Den is designed to be conducted in cycles of 5years each.
Our projection:
The first Year of the event will camp and train 300 young leaders who are expected to influence at least two of their peers within the first year of leaving camp. This sequence will continue in a geometric progression up to the fifth generation within which the GLED team can monitor and mentor them.
The Leaders’ Den is an annual program and from the second year will be conducted in the 6 geopolitical zones in Nigeria. From the second year, we will be camping and training 500 young leaders in each zone. These leaders will also be encouraged to reach out and influence at least two of their peers. The sequence will also continue in a geometric progression up to the fifth generation.
By the end of the first cycle (5years), we would have raised and nurtured up to 381,300 young leaders who will champion the campaign towards eradicating the leadership challenges in West AFRI FOR MORE INFORMATION VISIT Visit
